Practical integrity support.
Explore CEL’s pressure equipment integrity management, visual inspection, non-destructive testing, data management and specialty services. From individual assignments to ongoing programs, our team helps connect field findings with the information needed to plan the next steps.

Programs built around
your equipment.
Pressure Equipment Integrity Management (PEIM) brings inspection planning, equipment records and ongoing program responsibilities together. CEL supports owner-user and non-owner-user programs across upstream, midstream and downstream operations.
We work with clients to develop, implement and maintain an integrity program that reflects their equipment and operating needs. Support can be tailored to an existing program or the development of a new owner-user program, including quality management systems, inspection planning, Chief Inspector coverage and preparation for regulatory or vendor audits.
CEL Quality Services Ltd. · AQP 9029

Connecting the program to daily operations
Field findings, inspection histories and repair information need to remain connected to the equipment record. Our inspection and data management teams support that continuity, helping clients maintain useful records for planning, follow-up and program reviews.

Inspection across the
equipment lifecycle.
CEL provides inspection support for pressure vessels, pressure piping, boilers, storage tanks, coatings and welding. Assignments can form part of an ongoing integrity program, a turnaround, a repair or an equipment assessment.
Visual inspection and supporting NDT are coordinated around the equipment, its condition, access and the agreed scope. Clear findings and supporting records help clients understand what was examined and identify the next steps.
Pressure vessels, piping & boilers
- API 510 pressure vessel inspection
- API 570 pressure piping inspection
- NBIC boiler and pressure vessel inspection
- ABSA ISI-PVPP and ISI-BPVPP inspection capabilities
- TSASK Class 1 and Class 2 inspection capabilities
Tanks, coatings, welding & specialty visual inspection
- API 653 aboveground storage tank inspection

Our technical team confirms the personnel qualifications and inspection requirements appropriate to each assignment.

Choose the method.
Understand the findings.
Non-destructive testing supports the assessment of components during construction and in service. Different methods answer different inspection questions, from thickness measurements to surface examination and internal visual access.
CEL’s team helps establish the suitable method, coverage and reporting requirements for the work. Where qualifications and scope align, dual-certified inspectors can combine visual inspection and NDT within one assignment, helping reduce separate mobilizations and keep findings connected. Method selection depends on the material, equipment, access and inspection objective.
- Ultrasonic testing (UT)
- Zero-degree and shear-wave inspection methods. Ultrasonic sound is used to assess material thickness and identify internal discontinuities, with the technique selected for the component and inspection scope.
- Magnetic particle testing (MT)
- Wet fluorescent, wet visible and dry powder methods for ferromagnetic materials. Magnetic particle inspection helps reveal surface and near-surface discontinuities.
- Liquid penetrant testing (PT)
- Visible and fluorescent penetrant methods for surface-breaking discontinuities in suitable non-porous materials. Useful where a surface examination is required and magnetic particle testing is not applicable.
- Hardness testing
- Hardness measurements to support material, weld and equipment assessments. Test locations and the applicable acceptance requirements are established as part of the work scope.
- Magnetic flux leakage (MFL)
- Storage tank floor inspection to help screen for metal loss. Findings can be used to identify locations requiring follow-up examination.
- Long-range guided-wave inspection
- Ultrasonic screening along piping to identify areas requiring closer examination. Useful for planning focused follow-up inspection over longer pipe runs.
- Coating holiday (jeep) testing
- Low-voltage testing for discontinuities in suitable tank and vessel coatings. The test method is selected for the coating system and application.
- Coating thickness inspection
- Measurement of coating thickness to support coating inspection and assessment against project requirements.
- Borescope inspection
- Remote visual examination of internal areas, including small-bore exchanger tubing, using suitable access and inspection tooling.
From field findings
to useful records.
Inspection information is most valuable when it can be found, understood and carried forward into the next decision.
Data management is a core part of CEL’s integrity support. Our in-house data management and data-entry resources help move information from field reports into the client’s working equipment database.
Support includes inspection data entry, equipment history organization, database upkeep and client document access. Our field, shop and office experience helps connect the inspection activity with the equipment record and its place in the integrity program. We work with the client’s record structure and reporting requirements so information can support ongoing planning, maintenance and program reviews.
Day-to-day data support
- Inspection findings and report data entry
- Equipment histories and supporting inspection record organization
- CEL in-house and client-specific database support
- Records to support inspection planning, reporting and integrity program reviews
- Client document access through the CEL Client Workspace
Experience with industry platforms
Our team’s experience includes the following platforms, alongside CEL’s in-house database and custom client databases:
- ABAData Equipment Manager
- Maximo
- Meridium
- Oplii
- Roughneck
- Visions
- Custom databases
Whether the assignment is an individual data-entry task or ongoing records support, we review the existing system, required information and handover process with your team. Database access and the work scope are agreed for each project.
